Sango Fighter — a 1993 one-on-one fighting game from Taiwan's Panda Entertainment, set among the generals of China's Three Kingdoms. Pick a warrior, fight through the rest, and in the story mode build a kingdom by recruiting the generals you defeat. Click Play to start.

About Sango Fighter
Sango Fighter was one of the few PC fighting games of its era with large, hand-drawn sprites and weapons-based combat. Its warriors come from the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, from Guan Yu to Lu Bu. Super Fighter Team bought the rights and released it as freeware in 2009.
How it runs here
This is the original DOS release of Sango Fighter, unmodified, running in DOSBox compiled to WebAssembly. The whole game is about 2 MB, so it starts within seconds on a normal connection. Sound and music play once you click into the game.
